Day two of the Bosnia–Hvar loop runs the length of Hvar island from Hvar town past Stari Grad, Pitve, Jelsa, and the eastern villages to Sućuraj, mixing paved island roads with Hvar ACT gravel. After the Sućuraj–Drvenik ferry, the route follows the mainland coast road through Igrane and Tučepi to Makarska.
Sućuraj–Drvenik car ferry is required; check timetables and summer queues. Hvar ACT gravel can be muddy and slippery after rain. Island roads are narrow with tourist traffic in peak season.
