Day one of a two-day loop leaves Sarajevo on Trans Euro Trail Bosnia and Herzegovina, heading west over the Dinaric Alps through Bugojno, Kupres, Glamoč, and Bosansko Grahovo on forest trails, gravel roads, and mountain tracks. The line crosses into Croatia at Strmica, passes Knin, and finishes in Skradin on the Krka river. Surfaces and elevation change steadily; this is a full-day transit ride, not a short loop.
Trans Euro Trail sections may pass marked mine-risk areas; stay on the established track. Long remote gaps between fuel and services, with patchy cell coverage. Valid documents required for the Bosnia and Croatia border crossing. Allow a full day of riding with daylight to spare.
